Precision Air Power, LLC was established in 1979 and continues to deliver on it's commitment to excellence and integrity.

1967 - Started out as Tompson Flying Service located at KSLC.

1972 - Name changed to Precision Air Motive.

1978 - Name changed to Precision Air Power LLC.

1999 - Precision Air Power LLC. moves to Woods Cross. KBTF.

2015 - New owners acquire Precision Air Power LLC.

2016 - Precision Air Power LLC. moves to new and improved facility, still located at Skypark (KBTF).

2017 - Precision Air Power LLC. expands current location and improves facility by doubling the shop space, still located at Skypark (KBTF).

Since 1979 Precision Air Power, LLC, has provided aircraft engine services to those aviators wanting the most reliability and precision from their engine. We take pride in our work and care about aircraft engines; therefore, we overhaul and repair engines to the manufacturer's specifications.

Our team of professional mechanics and specialized technicians provide the most precise and accurate overhauls. We pride ourselves in paying attention to the details. In doing so, we take our inspections to a the highest level -- well beyond our competitors. Simply put--we treat your overhaul as though it was for our aircraft!

Precision Air Power warrants each engine to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Under normal use and service, for one (1) year or five hundred (500) hours of operation, whichever shall occur first.

Bob Despain
Bob is our Repair Station certificate, and quality control manager. He brings 51 years experience overhauling engines in this repair station, and has been with the company since the start.

At Precision Air Power, we are special operations aviation professionals who take our business seriously. Doing our due diligence, we were seeking an outstanding repair facility to broaden our aviation reach; thus Precision Air Power was the answer. Providing excellence in aircraft engine overhauls and services as well as customer-oriented service, it was the obvious choice. We are proud to part of the Precision Air Power team.

We intend to improve and expand Precision Air Power to be a national competitor capable of providing top-tier aviation maintenance functions. We will bring some new changes in marketing, sales and service. We are proud to announce that we will retain our Chief of Maintenance who we believe is among the best engine mechanics in the business. Bob has over 51 years of experience in repairing and overhauling aviation engines and we intend to build on his expertise.

Our new website is just a start to some of the improvements we will institute at Precision Air Power. Customers can expect the same great service as well as maintaining the same location for your convenience.
